A hand-built and individually decorated earthenware hanging planter with hand-carved "horizon line" design in the technique of "sgraffito". The piece is left unglazed to allow water to evaporate from the planter's porous surface, keeping plants dry and cool. Strung with all natural hemp cord and contains a drainage hole in the bottom. Replace cords as necessary and minimize overwatering/wetting cords to prevent weathering.
